I have some paper items I want to preserve, consisting of original sales material, autographed documents,etc. Is it safe to keep them in plastic sheet protectors? Are there different types of plastic that should be avoided or preferred/ Thanks! Joe S

Absolutly you must find neutral folders for this purpose none acidic and none petro based covers. Contact a museum even the one in Wainwright may have info

Best to use is Mylar,,,and acid free backing boards. You can get them at a good comic book shop,,or here:
