Any opinions on good ol' Ballistol used to protect the blades? I'm testing it for a month or so and it seems to work fine. Blades remain shiny unlike renwaxed ones. Someone with longer "Ballistol experience" here?

Hi 777,

i'm using Gun-Tec by Liqui Moly.

It's equivalent to Ballistol.
It works as same as Ballistol Wink

I used Ballistol on my daggers for quite some time with very good results ... however the smell made me change to another oil, which is "GUNNEX". This works also very good and doesn´t smell.
