What do you think about this one.
Is this considered a transistional dagger?
The tang nut is aluminium. I was'nt sure if it was good.
I have'nt rzm and makers marks together before,
except on a few reproductions. It seems to be a very nice dagger. Any opinions?
What would be fair selling price?
Thanks.

Randal.

Looks fine to me mate - interestingly with K&M you will see the RZM displayed either above or below the makers mark. First i have seen with a tang nut like that, maybe a replacement but hard to tell from the pics. Is there evidence of the nut being removed at all? still a very nice dagger, well done.

That dagger is OK and is what is called a "transitional". As Sturm says, there is another version, same year, with the K&M logo underneath the RZM code.

I have seen other pommel nuts like that one. They are often found on EP&S daggers. It takes a very thin wrench to get in there

Note the "M" in script and the 7/29 written as a fraction is usually written.
