I like this dagger, but between grip and crossguards there is a crack. It can be investigation of influence of water or there can be someone has replaced details? I need your opinions. Thanks!

Looks like a correct RZM dagger where someone varnished the grip.

In my humble opinion, the grip is not original to the crossguards, both upper and lower. The bottom portion of the grip was originally fitted for a deeper seated set, as well as the upper. The poor fit would indicate the parts are mismatched.

I have looked 4 volume of the reference book " NS DAGGER MAKER TRADEMARKS " and have seen, that A.Wingen made the daggers with double marks only in 1939. And on this dagger 1938 is specified. Designation GAU on crossguard was usual this year on such type of daggers?

I agree with Flugzeug. The grip does not look original to the crossguards.
Very nice looking blade. hard to tell off pictures but scabbard looks like an earlier anodised variety.
Here is a picture of a transitional Wingen that I sold.
