Picked this up today along with an 1871 bayonet .The maker is C Eppstein-Sohne Solingen marked on the crossguard Nm and number 14 7142 anodised scabbard with its 3 piece strap the blade is in fair condition thought you might like to see it Rob.

Glad you like it ,its a shame we cant trace the number yet ,it came from Brighton together with the WW1 bayo ( which I have just put on ebay ) I do like things that have been personalised in some sort of manner it adds a little bit of extra interest .Rob.
