Very nice and original "spinwheel" SA composition, Skyline. Is it your permanent way of displaying your SA's, or was it done just for the photo?

Greetings.

That is not a permanent display. It was time to dust out the display cabinet they are kept in, so I took the opportunity to take the photo when they were on the floor. Nats this is just a part of the collection. The Haenel will have lots of company. Big Grin

Nats I do not know if Pet. Dan Krebs were sent exclusively to a specific area. I do find it interesting that both yours and mine are NSKK's. I have not seen but one photo of yours, but I consider mine to be the best conditioned Pet. Dan Krebs remaining in existence today until I see otherwise. This dagger is mint- in my opinion and many dealers would call it outright mint. Plus, it is personalized. Here are some pics I posted when I first received this beauty.

Skyline,

THAT is one of the very best SA's I have ever seen. I can't believe I missed it on Paul's site. Absolute beauty!

I have only seen a couple of the Krebs lobster marks over the years. It has to be one of the most interesting and attractive marks out there. Wonderful SAs!

Some makers are generally found with one Gau mark. Haenel daggers are usually found with Th, Voos usually Nm or P, Haco, of course, B. My Krebs is also Nrh. and the only other's I've seen have been marked likewise. Due to the fact they made a limited number of daggers, I would say it is fair to assume most Krebs will be found marked that way, and one not marked as such should be looked at a bit closer

On second thought, I do like to brag, cause Im mighty proud of that ragged old flag.
