Paul- Congrats on your first dagger!!! My first was a parts dagger as well, the only difference was that I did not know it!
Although I don't see anything off hand that screams "parts dagger" on yours. The grip eagle looks very low in the first pic., but then looks better in the second, hard to tell from the pics. The grip to crossguard fit looks OK. Do you have better pics. of the grip eagle and upper grip fitting? How does the crossguard fit against the scabbard throat?
Either way, as long as you are happy with it, that's all that matters. And if you knew that it was a parts dagger, hopefully you got it for a "parts dagger" price!
Anyway, congrats again and I can assure you that this won't be your last!

sorry about pic but that is the best i can do.
The bottom crossguard has the letter s stamped into it, and the scabbard fit is good but on one corner you could fit a pin in but over all i am happy with it as it only cost me $ 280

Nice dagger. I have an RZM EF Hoster, and have been looking for an early one to go with it.
