I do think the double marked transitionals are worth more, especially with the bag. I know I wouldn't sell this one for $3500....especially since it's supposed to be in Tom's book...

Good for you Jan to save someone a BIG disappointment.

John, that is a quite outstanding example & far superior to any other tagged & bagged piece I have yet seen. Any superlative you care to pick can be applied to that one!

I agree with John, the trans period daggers are MUCH MUCH rarer than most of the other SA daggers, and are the "sleepers" of collecting!
