Looks very nice, especially the grip. Those lacquered Aesculap grips can look like crap when the lacquer wears away.

A few years ago I would have cleaned this but I have come to realize that patina is beautiful -I don't believe that this one has eve been apart - Thanks for the comments -

Very Nice! My first SA is a Aesculap ground Rohm that was a deep brass color all over when I found it,and I cleaned it! I still reget that YEARS later! So hard not to touch them early on when you know less about the beauties of patina! Kevin.


It's ALL in the DETAILS!!.......

Thanks for them picture Ivbaust - I see in your picture that the Rohm has the same size logo as th others - I have a factory ground Rohm but it has a smaller logo which I assumed was to make room for the inscription - They must be correct either way ???- So much to know about these - Sure is fun learning

The two Röhm daggers on the right in the picture above have a smaller logo than the three on the left. Maybe it´s the angle of the picture was taken that it´s not so clearly visible. If you take a pic from straight above it´s clearly visible.
