Got this in today which I would like to open for discussion. It is a nice thin ribbed material and the construction is typical except, the side flaps have been completly stitched down to the cap body during construction. The two stitching lines at the top of the flaps have been stitched to the cap body. The cap itself is quite a thin material that would suggest that this is a work cap.

There is also a thick stitch of about 1 inch in length that secures the V in the top of the cap from opening. This is a most unusual cap, has anyone else seen this type of construction done on a side cap

Inside, Note the inch long stitch to keep the V together

Gary,

I have seen caps stitched together at the top a few times, the sewn down flaps don't bother me either. Looks good to me.
