I have acquired a cap that is police in style. It has a very dark blue piping. and a darker grey material as compared to the WWII police color. It has stamps on the inside top and side. It also looks like it has had a WWII police eagle sewn on the front. Any information as to whether it is WWII or post war would be appreciated.

A postwar West German Berlin Police Schiffchen. They wore these light blue uniforms for a period of time and the postwar property stamp indicates the Berlin Polizei Präsidium.
