Just find by a vet son this Klaas etched bayo.
Never in a collector hand before.

Best regards.

Matarese:

You can find picture of this etch on page 230 of Wayne's book, German Etched Dress Bayonets. It is rated as 'scarce' in the book.

I have always liked the look of this etch, especially the eagle.swas.helmet right near the hilt.

At last year's SOS, Wayne had for sale a short and long version of this etch, and I still regret not being in a position to buy these... I had other Pack items that needed my wad of cash that show. Big Grin

Congratulations,

John

Thanks John for comment.

I've see this one in Wayne's book.

He has one like this for sale in his website in this time.

It's priced 1750$. The kLAAS MM is different on mine.

Best regards.

Great etch!I purchased Waynes short etch a couple of years ago, interesting to note the differences compared to the long etch,ie,abscence of any floral design. Also
note the patent pending mark just below the blade buffer.
