Belgian M1916 bayonet. The frog appears to be for a German 98k.

yes Kilian said all... An M1916 belgian. it looks like to be shorted.

this bayonet sometimes used by german training units. so the german M98 frog can (not must!!!!!!) indicate a german use.

Is that a unit marking on the cross guard ?

Cheveau = Horse = Cavalry ?
