Hi

I dug up a Mauser bayo in a pretty nice condition today.

Can you please help me with an estimation of the value?

Thanks Smile

J,-

PS: I don't collect bayo's. Therefore this bayo will be sold...if anyone is interested Wink

This 98/05 bayonet rework with sawtooth removed is a desireable collector's item. A pity the condition is so rough though.
You are showing only one side of the bayonet. Any crossguard markings on the other side? 1920 perhaps??

Here is a thread with more info. http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/172097573/...735#5640055735

The bayo was sold several months ago - I'm sorry that I can't tell you more about it.

It seems to me, that Mauser marked 98/05 are considered more desirable by collectors and commend higher prices - especially if produced in 1918

Jimmy!
Did it sell for the 225$ as estimated?
