i have had a very good weekend buying three 2nd pattern f-s in near mint condition one i found in a local antique shop ,cheap, another through a friend again from an antique shop ,still cheap even including a drink for the finder ,and the last at an armsfair sunday still cheap at £250/$500

Since you have been talking about these, I have also run accross a small collection. unfortunately the owner is not interested in selling.

its completly different!
the blade is longer and slimmer and the tab is not torn!!!

it actually looks more like the knife on the left
we do sometomes sell f-s on ebay as you know i think you have even bought one off us
i have many spare sheafs always buying 3rd patterns if they have second pattern ones
i bought another today 3rd pattern with the wilkinson etch which will be sold as we do not collect 3rd patterns

i believe a better scabbard was sent with one knife but the knife is not the same
do you want all the etches so you can compare to the ones on ebay
