Any ideas of what this sword is era,age country of orgin. It is 26" long and the cross gaurd is 5". Well made all iron fittings no scabbard nice black finish no scabbard

Close up of wire wrapped handle with four or the brass rods. Wire is pressed too form a grove that gives it a upward point look.

It looks like an Italian poignard or small sword held in the left hand for a quick strike under the opponant's sword arm. How old it is??? Could be a copy or whatever.

I have no idea how old it is. It is almost in too good of shape to be too old.Bought it from a dealer at a gun show who carries unusual quality items.I will take some more pictures when I get my camera up.
