I personally think it's more about the piece than the dealer you buy from and would recommend posting a link to the item your interested in to get input then base a decision on that.

When I started everyone told me it was all about who you bought from which I guess has some importance but my thoughts are just about any dealer will have some questionable and some legit stuff.

I agree with Dean. Some dealers are notorious and are best avoided. The others, and some have excellent reputations, usually can be relied upon to one degree or another. However, it always pays to be vigilant and know what you are buying. Some items may receive honest differences of opinions as to authenticity. Others may be in "the twilight zone" as to what they are and when they were made. If a seller offers no return privilege or hedges on a description, it is probably time to look elsewhere. Look at the item itself, ask questions, get other opinions and get a guaranteed return privilege without absurd charges such as a "restocking fee." A seller's (dealer's) reputation is important, but it's your money and knowing what you are buying, aside from the dealer's reputation, is the most important element.
