Hello my friends,

Next month, I will be interviewing a ritterkreuzträger veteran for a research & documentary that I am doing. As such I would like to know what is the proper etiquette when talking to him??

1. What I do know that I have to be ready with my questions before hand.
2. Dress formally.
3. Have a good grasp of the individual bio. & unit history.

Is there anything that I might have missed out?

Cheers,
Ibrahim.

Looking for all relevant info & items on the WW2 German U-boats in Singapore and Asia for my research.

All of the above.

Be respectful above all.

Take your cues off the veteran as to where he wants to lead you with regards to the interview.

Above all, don't ask to see his awards 10 minutes into the interview.
