I am really sorry to see something like this from someone who obviously enjoyed & was enthusiastic about collecting. When you get ripped off it leaves an awful void inside because all your enthusiasm is replaced by doubt, anger & other feelings you can hardly put a name to. It is a violation when we are the victim of dishonesty & it is the dark side of the hobby. It takes time to get over it.

I also thought his lead up to the great sell off was rather brilliant. I am glad he is able to turn over his collection while maximizing his return. And so quickly.

Only two left 60 odd daggers in under a day including the one that started it apparently shows the value of the contacts world wide through GDC
Fantastic result but I hope Mongo doesnt live to regret it also hope he tells us the whole story about the Rohm so as someone else doesnt get ripped by the same rogue

It is hardly surprising that many of these pieces went so quickly. 4 lufts with accoutrements at less than $500 a piece Eek Confused

Heer daggers the same!

When I started 6 years ago they would have cost more than that without the hangers!

Incredible!

Some of us are waiting for "the other shoe to drop" as we say in America.

But some of us are stark raving paranoids.

I hope this all turns out legit.

I would put myself in the stark raving paranoid group on this one. A sad tale, I know the feeling though. When I tell my wife I've been had, or "had" myself, I consider it "tuition" payment. Luckily These instances have been few. I couldn't part this quickly/easily with my finds/trophies. Hopefully, the best to all involved.
