Quote "if counterfeit goods are offered we scrap those listings as soon as possible" They obviously dont know what repro daggers look like based on the number that are constantly on offer.Yet listings of genuine daggers are constantly removed for political correctness pure hypocracy IMO

My wife and I attended the eBay Live '08 Convention in Chicago two weeks ago. Quite an experience.
eBay had 800 employees at the meetings and I was able to speak with CEO Donahoe and the head of the Prohibited Material section (he arranged the meeting). We talked for over 20 minutes and I was assured that eBay was reviewing their stand on TR items.
Two of the workers in the Prohibited Materials section spent over an hour each going over the methods that can be used today to aleviate the TR problem and one of them asked me to review the current WWII German section of items running on eBay (there were 5113 items running at the time).
I was asked to comment on the items and showed them that there were several doctored photos, reproductions and otherwise objectional items running opposed to their statues.
The man actually tried to get me to work for eBay and I told him I was there to get the rules changed, not eliminate the items!
All in all it was an excellent conference and I accomplished my mission of getting those in the right places to at least listen and review our problem with the hope of amending or changing the policy. I felt that progress had been made.
