I think this is air crew member wings. But it does not look like other WWII crew member wings I have seen. Thanks for your help!

The design is certainly that of the Aircrew member. They may be just post war if they are not marked STERLING anywhere (although not all were ) They are an intereting die struck version. Did they have sterling clutches?

Thanks! Did not come with clutches. I can't find a mark on it anywhere and I hate to clean it because it has so much patina. Should I? mark |

I would leave it the way it is. It takes 60+ years to get a nice dark patina like that.
Aircrew wings are cool, because they are somewhat plentiful, they can still be had inexpensively, and there is a wide variety of variants out there. I'll try to post a few of the ones I just picked up. |
