I never saw anything like that. Is it printed? it almost looks hand done in colored pencil. If iut is hand done I would say probably something done by/for the marine. But if printed, there may be more floating around out there, and it could have been a 4th Div thing. There was a 4th Marine here I met that was very active in the association, I'll see if I can contact him and ask. Either way a very cool piece!

Erick, thtas a 4th Div item. all places they were. Whats the name on the back or maybe i was confused that it didnt have one? Is it Underhill, cates or cummings? by chance if so that may explain the 2 stars.Underhill was a 2 star guy so that really does not fit well. if not no biggie a shot in the dark. Anyway nice item! and its a 4th div item 100%

Hello Cog,The name written in ink on back is Dick Darea, this item came from widow of Walter Schafer VFW quartermaster.

Ah well it was far fetched but never hurts to ask. Maybe it was a reunion item?
