The first one was an enlisted cap eagle from the 1930's era with the "waffle" pattern. They wore collar disks that matched. You don't see a lot of these, and I don't think I have ever actually seen one on visor hat of the period.

The second one I haven't seen before but I would guess that it is from some military academy.

Interesting pieces. Thanks for sharing!

I don't know why i like these cap devices,but every time i see one and the price is right i buy one,picked this one up today at the Allentown Pa. gun show $3.00.... Jerry if you read this post some assistance please..DAVE H
