I don't know if the other items belonged to him or not, but they were with the grouping. The only thing I was able to find out so far is that he was captured by the Germans and recaptured by the 3rd Bn. on 21 Oct.1944, Aachen. Also, any idea of value?

Walter Macielak appears on the NARA list of having Died of Wounds (DOW rather than KIA). The designation DOW indicates that he at least reached the Battalion Aid Station before he passed away of wounds. He enlisted from lake County, Indiana

Depending on his unit and circumstances of death, the PH could go from $175 to $250.

If you decide to sell, let me know.
