I think the stamp says BRITISH MADE on this kaki ammo belt also has US marking,cant make out a date anyone know what war.

I would think WW2. Other than a few uniforms I have not seen any British Made WW1 gear, but there is a bunch of it that was used in WW2.
still quite interesting,and I would think would appeal greatly to the niche collectors. |

Thanks I appreciate it,I cleaned the dirt off and the stamp is dated 1944,but is the buckle the correct type?
