Neat !

I have often wondered why there is not more interest in Korea / Vietnam militaria.

Same thing about Post WWII European items.

G,

I was in MACV Team 39, later known as Team 45. The patch was for the MACV Command and Control Unit headquarters, which I was not a part of. I was outside the wire and not at any big base from July 1967 to July 1968. There were five of us in the subsector of the Team I was assigned to. Beaucoup Charles as well.

I have a few very early patch's and flags from the main headquarters units as I am friends with the widow of the guy who ran MACV/SOG headquarters in Saigon and she lets me buy some of the items her husband brought back when we exited Saigon and he had to take the ID cards with him.

another

These are highly faked and you must know without any doubt where they came from.

Thanks for sharing it with us~!

The VN stuff can be a mine field that has scared away many potential collectors and dealers. ( although some unscrupulous dealers have even traveled there to have pieces made up in the local shops.

It is nice to see some "known originals" of these rare high speed units.
