There really weren't that many meadals given out in WWI, so it shouldn't be that difficult. If you can email me with the infomation, I can see what I have in stock right now.

Family members may contact the National Personnel Records Center.Military Personel Records.9700 Pace Avenue ST.Louis,MO 63132-5100
If all remains the same,Family members are entitled to a one time replacement of awards at no charge. This may not include some items such as qualification badges like Marksmanship or awards by other countries,Vietnam Etc.but the records will usually list these items even though the Government will not provide these. This information may help in that the awards will be provided, but the quality of the pieces made currently.may not be of the period quality from which they were awarded. The Family must decide if they should purchase period awards for display purposes. One must be patient on the arrival of info,After submission ,it takes about 6 months. So dont worry when you dont hear anything for months! One day there will be a manilla envelope in the mail!!Also if your relatives who served are still with us..ask them if they would prefer to have a military style funeral. If so I have heard that a uniform for the branch of service may be provided by the government.I cannot confirm this at the moment but,If this is the case,I would have buried my father in a new uniform,as apposed to the old one.It was moth eaten and faded but I would have liked to have it for my family. Make the project a family project.and place it somewhere in your home where your children will see it often,Remember why this is the land of the free..so many people quickly forget!I am posting this attachment as a tribute to all of our service men and women in harms way. This Item belonged to another young man who survived many major battles in a turbulent time.In a way I am humbled by the fact I found it in a cigar box with some pokemon cards.
