The "Mitchell" cover was replaced by the "woodland" on around 1976 I think. They are usually dated on one of the flaps, it should say DSA-100-XX with the "XX" being the year. The helmet color and fittings looks like that same time period as well.

That helmet is earlier than the mid 80's. By then, it would have the clip on chinstraps. Your helmet has the T-1 clamp. It's Vietnam era.
