Can anyone give me opinions about this 42 laufschützer/barrel carrier

I only have one pic. The seller said the carrier is 1943 stamped and the metal on the straps are stamped with the code "lux"

To me the carrier/straps and the paint looks original german WW II.
(what's the worth of such items ??)

Opinions ?

ebay sometimes has these items listed but i would venture to guess the value around $75.oo,,,

I like every single detail of it. The blue may be Luftwaffe. These carriers are showing up quite often, but usually it's Yugo or Est Com Bloc repaint. They go for 40 - 50 US$. A real WW2 German one in original paint, in this condition. $100

I've bought this barrel carrier.
There is also a painted 4 digit number on the carrier. The inside is tan and the outside is repainted dark green/greyish-blue. LW should be very good possible. underneath the blue/green paint is the tan paint visible.
I think this item is correct. (metal on strap is "lux" stamped)
