Picked these up today from a local vet, one is stone mint and I believe that one is DAK not sure and the other is blue in color but I cann't find any markings. The tan one is dated 43 and has a code of CLG. Both pouches have all three mags in them to.

That's a fantastic grouping you picked up. I allways wanted a set of MP-40 pouches but was never comfortable telling good from bad. Can you show a few photos of the MP's? What are the makers of the mags?

Thanks Fritziii, looking forward to seeing them. I'm curious to see if there are any I don't have.

Textbook unissued CLG..there was huge load of them imported into the country years back, and they are easier to find unissued vs. field worn

The continental green ones are tough to find..

I was thinking the same thing, mp-38 or variant. What is the makers code? I see the nomenclature towards the bottom. Does it say MP38ü40 or something else? Embosed ribs would give strength to the side of the mag. Maybe it was just a cost cutting measure doing away with them.
Thanks for the photos. I see a couple I don't have.

The unribbed one is maker marked "98E 40" and is marked on the side low MP38u40.
