Hey Kris,

the camo one (with the MG 34) is original and waffen marked all over (from Norway)and was 3 grand, the other one (with the MG 42)is post war with all the optical sights and was only $400.

I also picked up a Garand aluminum rack that holds 20 Garands for $65.00. The pickins are still good down South!

There are more in Norway...

Best,

Mark Cool

Mark,

Thought so, a nice setup and these pods can get costly for sure.

Best,

Kris

Hello Hinrik, this is the one I wrote you about. The collector I got it from is a heck of a nice guy and is a collector of Nordland and Wiking items. He is looking for a tunic and uniform now and even has an old German bunker in his backyard in Norway. I might have to go there and check it out. I get more really, I mean really nice stuff from that part of the world than most. It surprises me that so much German stuff was left there. Ammo crates, weapons parts, you name it.

Best..

Mark

I am posting these two mg-34 tripods for a very good friend and fellow collector who lives about 1,5 km from me and he also has a bunker in his garden. His house is partly standing on a german barack concrete and that area was the artillery base and littered with bunkers!
Cool My bunker is a part of the combatline/observer for the artillery bunkerstand. Thanks for the kind words Kingtiger! I apriciate it. Wink
Enjoy Smile

Nice stuff Ernst! You guys have some of the best MG mounts out there. Do you ever see any of the optical sights that went on these?
