Actually my 3 new steyrs. I have been wanting one for a while and since they were on sale I bought 3. All are matching #s. These are nicely made, well balanced rifles. Chambered for 8x56r. These were used in ww1 then "cut down" and refurbished in the 1930s, to be used again in ww2.

Nice looking rifles. I probably would have bought all 3 also,as I'm not one to pass up a good deal. Can you show the tops of the receivers?

I guess Im a ****er for a good deal. Heres the other three I got today. Its interesting that the austrians used so many different types of wood for their stocks. In the examples I have, there is oak, walnut and beech.

Ever fire one of the carbines ? You get a flame out the front and a kick you'l never forget - the round was definitely designed for the long rifle.
