One is the type 2 variant and the other is a type 3.

Very nice Mark. I have a collection of all of the prime contractors of the standard model, but don't have a paratrooper yet. What are they fetching these days?

I have seen the variants go for $2,500 up to $4,500. A very rare original, never ever re-worked is in the $5,000 range. There are more fakes than there were ever originals so as you know, it requires caution and knowledge of all the parts. The hardest part to fake is the butt plate inside casting and the leather oiler housing. You can make one up with repro parts, but if those parts are wrong...it's just a wall hanger.
