Any chance of a chrome luger? I haven't seen it yet, but I'm just wondering. I figure it was a post war job? I don't recall seeing any. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Pauli

I have seen three. Two in the late 1950's and one about 20 years ago.

Chrome was a big thing after WWII. Lots of metal souvenirs got chrome plated. I think it was a reaction by GI's to years of OD uniforms, trucks, helmets, etc.

I've seen a few over the years with chrome or nickle finishes. Usually they come with a "German general" story. The last one was handed to me with a story about it being a special paratrooper model! Roll Eyes
