my very good friend just purchased this FJ helmet... To tell the truth I was sleeping in front of TV, so he already won the auction... Simpy risked it... any oppinions?

looks like a cut-down m-35 with bogus liner,,,see if he can return it,,its no good

Could anybody point out some details which are wrong? Only one or two, not giving fakers a feedback... my friend needs to know more to cancel the sale...

jan,,,the shell is an m-35,not an FJ shell,,non-standard liner,that is in my opinion,not german also,and there are no provisions that i can see from your pics any chinstrap attachments,has an m-31 metal liner band,with the cushion pads added. If the seller is purporting this shell to be the early experimental type,then it would most suredly have army decals and not luftwaffe,,,a incomplete attempt to fool someone into thinking that this is a para helmet in my opinion,,

It is an obvious cut down and the liner is not correct also looks artifially aged in water
