I'm trying to find a source for accurate, repro leather liners for an original M-31 II liner.

I try not to meddle with original helmets, but this M40 Q64 is in such nice shape, save for the missing leather liner, and it's irking me.

BTW,

If anyone has (or would be so kind as to make) a pattern for this one piece, 8/9 flap insert, I could make one from pigsking myself. I don't dare remove any from my extant examples.

To clarify,

I am talking purely about the 8 finger leather insert, not the liner bands (inner,outer)or hardware, which is original and intact.

I'm not attempting to sell this, or pass the replacement leather liner off as original. I just want to add this missing portion for my own piece of mind (such as it is).
