Hi,

I will throw out what I think this is and value and yall shoot holes in it.. HAHA

I put it on some other forums and got a range of comments most of them negative that it was not a 100% untouched piece..

I have this for inspection before I sell it and noticed a few things I wanted to run by other collector so I dont give someone bad info...

first I dont like paint.. Not sure why just dont.

Liner looks original chinstrap does too (though other folks say its an aged repro.. possible?

The reason I think the chinstrap is original is the sheer flexiblity of it and the missing leather due to lots of use.

The shell has no stamps on it at all..Not good.

My 2 cents is that this is an original shell (maybe a restored dug piece?) and liner.

Bad side is paint and maybe the bolts?

Other thoughts??

Even as is a "parts put together" it should sell in the 3500-4500 range?? No? Since 1000% ones are going in the 8000-15000 range

thanks D

Sorry, I don't like it at all. It seems to have very much intentional aging.

Yes, but the question is what is real, and what is it worth as either a restored piece or a parts/components piece.

Let's agree as a first point the paint is bad.

..and then?
