I lately bought a Japanese flag, maybe not the most esthetic compared to the ones posted on this forum, but I found it interesting because it is dated. Actually it is from 1943. I was wondering if someone could help me with the translation.

My opinion only, but you should not be 100% positive this is a ww2 era flag...looks by the pics, and of course this is difficult to do, but seems like modern made material, extreme crease folds, way to fresh looking.. these are being faked, so too speak.. you can even take a period ww2 flag, iron out, then using a stylus and india perm. ink, ""create'' a signed, kanji flag..
