Quite a long time ago I bought a black leather sword belt with blue felt like backing with a two piece typical textbook Army Officer buckle. The only thing is that this belt had two matching hanging straps for a sword with two suspension rings-Navy? So-a Navy belt with an Army buckle? I thought so until I just saw another one-So---What ? and Why? Thanks

Dear Houston, you have a company grade army sword belt worn by warrant - captains rank. Certain army officer's swords, including dress variations had two rings for two hangers.
