I am not familiar with RZM M7/13, but I do have an SS mini that is maker marked "807/36" and is similar to that shown on page 667 of Tom Wittmann's book Exploring The Dress Daggers and Swords of the German SS. How does it compare to yours? ~ Ian

this dagger is up for auction.
Highest bid at the moment is more or less 40 euro.
as bsuhido mailed me, it looks to good, to shiny to new to be original.

what would be afair price for a little rascal like this?

Sure looks like the recently produced ones. I think they retail for $250. I always thought they were neat, but figured they wouldn't go up in value. John

auction ended yesterday , it sold for 345 euro.
I only placed a low sniper bid (and did not win it).
I did see newer repros (www.1800miniature.com) but these are chained SS daggers , I have not foudn one with this hanger type.

IMHO-None of these political type SA/SS/NPEA/NSKK miniatures are original. The one with scabbard shown here is recent. The ones without scabbard came in with the Atwood junk in the 60's. They were not considered original then but recently some think they now are. Think about it. Would the RZM inspect and approve such a poorly constructed private purchase item? IMHO-No way. Those ones with the scabbard are current production. You can get SA and SS EM daggres as well as chained SS. The even come with a miniature take down tool. About $165. I think Matt Calderone sells them.

They are starting to pop up, well aged, at shows Big GrinBig Grin.

Repro. www.1800miniatures.com was selling them a few years back. They came with the dagger, hangers and miniature take down tool. I think they just sell the chained version today. They worked great with displays. starky
