I just picked this up from a gentleman who purchased it from a vets widow.

It is about 8 3/4 inches long and made of metal
with no makers mark but it has jagdegechswader richthofen engraved along the spine.

This piece is 100% authentic.
Any help would be appreciated.

It's a commercial grade, metal letter opener.it's not a mini luft sword.There are a lot of them around.value,$5-$10,maybe.Paul

I have one that is all one piece. I bought it as a fake. How pieces is yours. Ill get pics of it up later.

This is all metal and one piece.
The widow it was acquired stated that her husband was a colonel in tha Army Airforce.
This piece came with 2 flags a Luftwaffe radio case that he gutted and used as a suitcase to send the stuff home.
Also there were 4 spike helmet storage boxes one tin and the others hard cardboard lined with silk or satin.
So there is no doubt in my mind that this is not original.
