Nats,

You have a Weimar priod Navy dagger in a NS Zeit Army dagger scabbard that appears to be brass or gilt. It appears to be a postwar miniature construction to me I am afraid as the mixed parts make no sense.

Sorry but that's a period piece. I have seen them before. On some they used the army scabbard-Why? I don't know-- but they did.

Hello Houston, thanks for your reply.your opinion on the dagger is the same as Tom Wittmann.
He said it was a very early example,and quite rare. regards nats
