Hi all
I'm in the final throws of buying this boxed set.
I'm advised it was issued to a pilot upon completion of his training prior to WW2.
Has anyone seen a boxed set before?
As minatures are new to me any comments/thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks

I believe both pieces to be reproductions,A real Paul Meybauer Pilots badge looks much different than the one shown and the dagger looks like a Czech repro to me.Jay Parisi

Concensus of opinion has both dagger & badge as questionable. I've decided to withdraw from the deal, pending further research.Frown

Guy had it on Ebay and mentioned a Wittman connection but could provide no paperwork as to it coming through him.

I had this on for sale - It turns out that Maybauer didn't make pilot badges - The dagger I beleive is correct - This came from a Johnson auction years ago but don't know if the badge is the one that came with it -I bought it as real and am returning it to the guy I got it from - It sure is a good repo on the badge - Fooled me and the guy I got it from -
