Not a repro since they were never produced pre-1945 but an interesting piece with the Krebs maker mark.

There was a mini-RAD that I believe to be pre-May 45.

Yes, Alcoso made an Officer's model, but I've never heard of an enlisted mini pre-1945. If you have info, please share Wink

And for what it's worth, the officer model is VERY convincingly reproduced. One of the dead giveaways of the repro is a blade that bends easily - almost as if it were made of lead. The scabbard is almost undetectable.

I have an officers one with a bendy blade, only cost me $180 but it sure looks good. Bright orange grip as well. Marked Alcoso, very hard to tell from the real thing.

I doubt that you will get any comment on this question as it is a, not common & b, post period.

I think it just up to the individual to decide what they would be prepared to pay for it.

That might get an answer. I think it would be interesting too!

I would be content to know that I got a good deal.....which you certainly did Wink

Dippy,
I like your screen name. I assume your name is Matt?

I've always thought if my name were Craig, my screen name would then be "CraigsMarine". Wink
