Hello,

have a look at this mini-mini-bajonet with scabbard and leatherfrog:

7 cm long without scabbard

Have somebody see this before?

Greetings JanC

Never seen such a mini before, but it does show quite a bit of effort. Could you post a pic of it next to something so we can really appreciate its size? Are the hilt, rivets and blade actually made of metal? thanks. Andy

Dave,
He can add it to his collection of fine and unusual blades. Cool

Don,
I responded three days ago to your email. Perhaps it got lost in the shuffle. Please send me the scans you referred too.

Thanks,
Andy

THAT is the coolest mini ever! Actually the little frog is the neatest part! NO idea if it is original but I'm 100% sure it's COOL!
Congrats!

Andy,
I never received your email, but a gentleman in England solved the mystery. The pin I thought might be Masonic turned out to be a college fraternity pledge pin. The single word was classical Greek for "pledge. It was with some German pins that a vet gave to his daughter. I will post them here so you can see the pin in question
Thanks,
Don

Glad you got your answer dispite our disconnect. BTW, missed you at the SOS. Were you there?

Hi Andy,
Yes, I was at the SOS from noon on Thursday until Saturday morning. We were fortunate to arrive only minutes before the ice storm began on Thursday.
Didn't really find much to buy, but I always enjoy seeing fellows I have known and corresponded with for many years...especially the overseas guys that I only see every few years.
Regards,
Don
