Got this from a fellow member who was selling off all his stuff awhile back any help would be appreciated. I do know it's german navy war merit but dumb on the rest, just want to know when listing it in the sale forum.

You have the packet for a "War Merit Medal". this is the lowest grade of the War Merit Cross series. It has nothing to do with the Navy and was awarded to anyone who did something for the war effort. The maker of yours is Arno Wallpach located in Salzburg. The LDO# would be 108. Complete packet and medals go for $50 or less. The empty packet $10.

Hi Eric..when you see the word 'Kriegs' as the first part of the word, it means 'war' so if you see Kriegsmarine it is literally the war fighting navy
