I have a small medallion on a chain - It as enameled center and has the word URSTENFELDBRUCK on the front - Any idea what this word means - Thanks

I'm pretty sure that if you look a bit closer
the word will turn out to be "Furstenfeldbruck," a region of Bavaria. What kind of medal is it on?

The more I look at it I guess there was probably an F but the word is so long it is under the rim on the side - Any idea what it was for - It came with some WW 1 stuff -

It's FÜRSTENFELDBRUCK.

It's a Town,15 miles north-west of München.
