I have attached a photo of a flag I recently found. It appears to be an Imperial German Flag with an Iron Cross in the center. The flag is approximately 5ft by 9 ft and is made of a gauze type material. I have searched around the internet but cannot find any information on the history of this design of flag and how it was used. Most of all I would like to determine what it is worth.

I believe some of the information you seek is actually printed on the flag.Can you take a closeup pic of the printing on the hoist end?

Price? varies..Wiemar era flags are not in high demand, nor are they sought out.$200.00 would be reasonable I would think, given its condition.However do not be surprised if it sits or goes for less.
