What do you think of this Imperial group?

The Sachsen medal is not maker marked
Hindenberg Cross marked C.TH.D with a D in a house shaped surround
EK2 is marked on the ring 7 or 2 or Z

Each medal is in lovely condition. The EK2 is almost perfect with a lovely patena.

Nice to have this with the medal bar.

I like it but what do you, the experts, think?

James,

Though I'm nowhere near being an expert on anything, I can only give you my opinions ...

The trio look to be an outstanding original grouping in lovely condition. Everything seems to be in a near pristine state and it's great to see the ribbons that fresh and clean, too.

This set would make for a great addition to anyone's collection - defintely keepers! Wink

Best!

Bill

Thanks everyone for your comments. Sadly I am not an Imperial collector so these are destined for someone else to collect.

I have not been able to find out what they are worth so I am afraid I have posted them on ebay.
