Hello all. As I did not see one posted here I thought I post pictures of my PLM. eagles are open mouthed (late war silver filled version)tail feathers are cut out, crown is "dempled."
Note how then the decoration is. Replical are much too thick. Of note id the ribbon. It is not as wide as others I've seen, this one is only 1 & 10/16 inch wide.

The PLM's are really fantastic looking awards.
The most beautiful that I ever saw was a cased example that belonged to Bob Waitts. It had the most stunning pea****-blue enamel that I ever saw on one.
